The short version
When you click a “Check price at …” button and buy something, the retailer may pay GiftWiseList a commission. You pay the same price either way. Commissions are how the site is funded; they do not influence which gifts we choose or what we say about them.
Programs we take part in
- Amazon
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
How the links work
- Retailer buttons are labelled neutrally (“Check price at Amazon”) and open in a new tab.
- Retailer buttons link straight to the retailer’s product page, with our affiliate tag in the address. We do not track or record the click on our side.
- We do not show prices at all, because they change daily. The retailer’s page is always the source of truth for price, stock and shipping.
What we do not do
- We do not take payment to include a product or to rank it higher.
- We do not publish sponsored guides.
- We do not receive free products in exchange for coverage.
